Lucknow: The Directorate of Sports, Uttar Pradesh, in coordination with the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi Association, has announced the Sub-Junior Boys and Girls Kabaddi Competition across the state.
The girls’ competition will be held from 24 to 26 September 2025 in Kasganj, with district-level trials on 20 September at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Siddiqpur from 10:00 AM. The divisional-level selection will take place on 22 September in Varanasi starting at 9:00 AM.
The boys’ competition is scheduled from 4 to 6 October 2025 in Gautam Buddh Nagar, with district trials on 27 September at Siddiqpur and divisional selection on 30 September in Varanasi.
Eligibility criteria specify that players must be under 16 years of age as of 31 December 2025 (born after 1 January 2010) and must not exceed 55 kg in weight. Participants are required to bring a photo ID eligibility certificate, age proof certified by the principal, Aadhaar card, and a copy of high school marksheet for the selection process.
