Lucknow– As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada celebrations, a special health and blood donation camp was organized on Thursday at the Rural Health and Training Center (RHTC), Jugaur, by the Department of Community Medicine, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS). The camp was held under the “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan” (Healthy Women, Empowered Families Campaign).
The program was led by campaign in-charge Dr. Vinita Shukla, who emphasized the importance of women’s health. “A woman’s health is the true strength of the family and society. Taking care of women’s health is a vital aspect of empowerment,” she said in her address.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, including both men and women. Village head (Gram Pradhan) of Jugaur, Shiv Kumari, was also present and urged women to remain alert and attentive towards their health.

The initiative was supported by faculty members and resident doctors of RMLIMS. According to the Department of Community Medicine, similar health camps will be organized in the coming days at different locations to spread health awareness in rural communities.
