Two stalls set up by the Defence Accounts Department during the Kaushal Mahotsav held in Lucknow on 16th and 17th September were inaugurated by Shri R.K. Arora, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Controller General of Defence Accounts, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
Shri SK Choudhary, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, Central Command, Shri Harihar Mishra, Indian Defence Accounts Service, Integrated Financial Advisor (IFA) of Central Command including senior army officers and the officers and employees of PCDA are present on this occasion.
Through these stalls, information was provided regarding the innovations being undertaken by the Defence Accounts Department, e-governance initiatives and providing employment opportunities to the youth. On this occasion, pension related problems of visiting ex-servicemen were also resolved through Sparsh portal.
This initiative of Defence Accounts Department by participating in Kaushal Mahotsav is an important step towards reaching out to the youth and making them aware of new opportunities.
