CMS students win 18 medals including 1 Gold Medal in International Science Competition

Lucknow : The meritorious students of City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I, have brought glory to Lucknow on the international stage by winning a total of 18 medals including 1 Gold Medal, 4 Silver Medals, and 13 Bronze Medals in the International Science Competition (VANDA-2025) organized under the aegis of Singapore International Mastery Contest Centre (SIMCC). In addition, 16 students were awarded certificates of appreciation for their outstanding performance.

In this prestigious competition, Aarav Kumar Singh, a Class 8 student of CMS Aliganj Campus I, secured National Rank 3 and Global Rank 5, thereby winning the Gold Medal. CMS Founder-Director Dr. Bharti Gandhi conveyed her best wishes for the bright future of these meritorious students and expressed gratitude to the principal and teachers of the campus.

This information was given by Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS. Khanna informed that this competition was based on the science curriculum followed in Singaporean schools, and witnessed participation from students of Classes 3 to 10 from several countries worldwide. Organized annually, the purpose of this competition is to develop students’ creative thinking and to encourage competition and innovation in the field of science on an international platform.

Khanna further stated that acknowledging the importance of the scientific era, CMS is making vigorous efforts to develop in its students a scientific and global outlook. Various international competitions on different subjects are organized at CMS throughout the year, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talents on a global platform. It is through these efforts that CMS students are consistently setting new records in various national and international competitions.
