Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment Rally Culminates in Muzaffarnagar

MUZAFFARNAGAR – The Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment Rally, which was organized by the Army Recruiting Office, Meerut, successfully concluded on September 8, 2025. The 18-day long rally was held at Chaudhary Charan Singh Stadium in Muzaffarnagar under the aegis of the Headquarters Recruiting Zone (UP & UK).

Candidates for the categories of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Clerk/SKT, Agniveer Technical, and Agniveer Tradesman (8th and 10th) from 13 districts of western Uttar Pradesh participated in the event. These districts included Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Amroha, Rampur, Moradabad, Bulandshahr, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Hapur.

More than 15,300 candidates took part in the rally. Senior Army officers, including Major General Manoj Tiwari, Zonal Recruiting Officer (UP & UK), and Brigadier S.K. Mandal, DDG Recruiting (States), visited the site to review the recruitment process. They motivated the participants, who displayed a high standard of discipline and enthusiasm, which contributed to the smooth conduct of the rally.

The civil administration of Muzaffarnagar, led by District Magistrate Umesh Mishra, played a crucial role. Their collaborative efforts and support were pivotal in ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process, making the event a success.
