Lucknow: The three-day inter-school festival “Jashn-e-Bachpan 2025” concluded at Study Hall Junior School with vibrant celebrations. The event, held once every two years, is dedicated to cherishing childhood in its truest form — a phase filled with joy, imagination, teamwork, and exploration.
This year’s edition saw the participation of 1,082 children from 21 schools across Lucknow and Varanasi. In the overall results, CMS Gomti Nagar secured the first position, followed by DPS Jankipuram in second place and GD Goenka in third. While Study Hall School scored the highest points, it graciously passed on the trophy to the runners-up as the host institution.
Over the course of three days, students from Classes 1 to 5 competed in more than 34 different events. From creative challenges to team-based competitions, the festival offered young learners a platform to showcase their talents.

Speaking on the occasion, Bani Malhotra, Headmistress of Study Hall Junior School, said: “Childhood is not just preparation for adulthood, but a beautiful chapter filled with laughter, curiosity, and discovery. Jashn-e-Bachpan provides children with the opportunity to express themselves, work in teams, and learn with joy.”
The festival concluded with a prize distribution ceremony that celebrated not just victories but also participation, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Once again, Jashn-e-Bachpan reinforced Study Hall’s educational philosophy that places creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and the joy of learning at its core.
