Bharat Sports Academy Crowned Champions of Avadh Kabaddi League 2025

LUCKNOW – The Avadh Kabaddi League 2025, organized by Krida Bharati and Khelo India and hosted by Kridoza Pvt. Ltd., concluded today at the K.D. Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow. The thrilling tournament featured 11 participating teams, culminating in a spectacular final.

The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony and the national anthem, led by the chief guest, Girish Chandra Yadav, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, and special guests Engineer Avneesh Kumar Singh and Anshul Vidyarthi.

Encouragement for Young Athletes

Engineer Avneesh Kumar Singh, a member of the Legislative Council and State President of Krida Bharati, delivered an inspiring speech to encourage the players. Chief Guest Girish Chandra Yadav also addressed the athletes, highlighting the crucial role of sports in nation-building.

Anshul Vidyarthi, the Provincial Organization Minister of the All India Students’ Council (ABVP), motivated the young players to strive for excellence in both sports and education.

A Thrilling Final and Awards Ceremony

The final match was a fierce contest between Bharat Sports Academy and HCL Foundation. In a stunning display of skill, Bharat Sports Academy emerged victorious, clinching the championship title.

Following the match, the winners were honored by Anshul Vidyarthi and MLC Angad Singh. Medals were presented by Govind Pandey, the Provincial President of Krida Bharati, and Anil Agarwal, the Metropolitan President. Both teams received cash prizes to further boost their morale.

The Avadh Kabaddi League 2025 has not only provided a competitive platform for players but has also served as a historic initiative to strengthen the state’s sports culture, identify young talent, and underscore the importance of sports in society.
