Hrithik Roshan Believes ‘War 2’ is an “Unmissable” Theatrical Experience

Mumbai — Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is confident that his upcoming film, ‘War 2,’ set for a global release on August 14, will be an “unmissable” project for audiences to watch in theaters.

The film will see Hrithik’s character go head-to-head with pan-Indian superstar NTR Jr. in a no-holds-barred, bloody showdown, which he describes as a spectacular visual experience.

“The love and appreciation I received for playing Kabir in ‘War’ reminded me of the love I got for ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai,’ ‘Dhoom 2,’ and ‘Krrish,'” Hrithik said. “Coming back as Kabir this time is a joy because audiences loved the role so much. This time, he is even more intense and conflicted. Very emotional. I think ‘War 2’ is going to be something that cannot be missed.”

Having worked on the film while recovering from serious injuries, Hrithik stated that every bit of pain and suffering was worth it. “It was difficult (to work while dealing with pain and injuries). We worked very hard. All the pain and injuries I endured during the shoot of ‘War 2’ were worth it. Sometimes on set, I would be in pain and wonder, ‘Is all this really worth it?’ But now, seeing the love from people, the answer is yes, absolutely.”

‘War 2’ is the sixth film in the prestigious YRF Spy Universe, which has a track record of delivering blockbuster hits.
