LUCKNOW – The Aliganj ka Raja Ganesh Pooja Seva Samiti is all set to host its 13th annual Shri Ganesh Janmotsav from August 27 to 31. This year’s celebration, taking place at the ‘Gulab Vatika Apartment’ near Nehru Bal Vatika Park in Aliganj, will feature a unique “Operation Sindoor” theme for the Lord Ganesha’s ‘darbar’ (court).
The organizing committee, including patrons Raj Kumar Singhal, Mahesh Agarwal, Sandeep Agarwal, and Manoj Mishra, announced that preparations are in full swing. President Saurabh Agarwal and General Secretary Sharad Tiwari confirmed the special theme for the pandal.
According to media in-charge Manish Gupta, a team of nearly a dozen artisans from Kolkata has been working for the past 20 days to create the elaborate ‘darbar.’ In addition to the main pandal, two grand entrance gates are being constructed on the road leading to the venue.
A festive atmosphere is planned outside the main venue, with a fair-like setup featuring various stalls and rides for children to enjoy. All devotees who visit the ‘darbar’ will be offered ‘prasad’ (blessed food).
