Lucknow — The S.R. Group of Institutions, located at Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow, marked the Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The celebrations began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag, followed by cultural programmes that filled the campus with joy and pride.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Pawan Singh Chauhan, Member of the Legislative Council, Uttar Pradesh, whose inspiring address infused a fresh wave of energy among the faculty, guests, and students. Dignitaries in attendance included Advocate Ajay Singh, Chairperson Nirmala Chauhan, Vice Chairperson Sushmita Singh Chauhan, and Vice Chairman Piyush Singh Chauhan, whose gracious presence made the occasion even more special.

A variety of colourful performances, including beautiful dances and patriotic songs, were presented in honour of the Chief Guest and other distinguished guests. In his speech, Pawan Singh Chauhan emphasised that “there is no greater worship than serving the nation.” He highlighted that India is recognised globally as a country of youth, and that the nation’s future lies in the capable hands of today’s children.

Vice Chairman Piyush Singh Chauhan described education as the most powerful tool for national development and urged everyone to honour the sacrifices of martyrs by building strong moral character. Vice Chairperson Sushmita Singh Chauhan encouraged all to become true citizens, uphold moral values, and work towards a clean, beautiful, and prosperous India.
Following the Independence Day programme, the institution also announced celebrations for Janmashtami. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets to all students, parents, teachers, non-teaching staff, and esteemed guests, leaving everyone in high spirits.
