AKTU: Rangoli Competition Showcases ‘Operation Sindoor’

Lucknow: As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) held a rangoli competition on Tuesday under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. Students dedicated their rangoli to ‘Operation Sindoor,’ creating an attractive artwork that depicted Mother India and illustrated the operation.

The rangoli designs also reflected themes of women’s empowerment, India’s integrity and unity, and the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Pandey praised the excellent use of colors in the rangoli, stating that such competitions are essential for the holistic development of students, as they not only learn but also foster a sense of patriotism.

Students from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Architecture, and Ramswaroop College participated in the event. The rangoli entries were evaluated by Shubhi Pandey, Dr. Siddharth, and Anjali Singh. The winning team will be awarded on Independence Day. The event was also attended by Finance Officer and Acting Registrar Keshav Singh, who encouraged the students.

The competition was coordinated by Dean of Student Welfare Prof. O.P. Singh and Assistant Registrar Ayush Srivastava. Other notable attendees included Controller of Examinations Prof. Deepak Nagariya, Prof. K.S. Verma, and Amit Malik.
