Lucknow – The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) came alive with energy and camaraderie as it hosted Samvaad 2025, its flagship alumni conclave, on August 9–10. The two-day gathering brought together alumni from diverse batches and industries for insightful discussions, engaging panels, and vibrant networking, all united by the pride of being part of the IIM Lucknow legacy.
This year’s theme, “The India Moment: Ideas, Impact, and Influence”, set the tone for conversations exploring India’s rising global influence and the sweeping changes shaping its economy, businesses, and society. Through thought-provoking panels, fireside chats, and student–alumni roundtables, the conclave bridged classroom insights with real-world experience.
Welcoming attendees, Prof. M.P. Gupta, Director, IIM Lucknow, highlighted emerging market opportunities and the value of alumni perspectives in nurturing future leaders. Prof. Rajesh Aithal, Chairperson, Alumni Affairs, spoke about the strength of the alumni network and its role in mentoring and guiding students.


The event featured multiple sector-focused panels:
- Finance Panel – Shivakumar Ramaswami, Ashish Narula, and Shubham Jain, moderated by Shivahari Raman, discussed India’s evolving financial landscape.
- Marketing Panel – Tejas Chaudhari, S. Srinivas, and Anshika Maheshwari, moderated by Ria Jain, explored regional influence, vernacular creativity, and local-first digital storytelling.
- Entrepreneurship Panel – Kiran Shah, Mohan Prasad, and Swapnil S. Kumar, moderated by Abhishek Singh, shared strategies for scaling ventures in India’s dynamic market.
- Strategy Panel – Arjun Myne, Abhijeet Singh, and Sakshi Bhalla, also moderated by Abhishek Singh, focused on transformation and leadership in a high-growth India.
Samvaad 2025 reaffirmed the deep and enduring bond between IIM Lucknow and its alumni, a network that continues to fuel knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and inspiration for the leaders of tomorrow.
