Lucknow:The core committee meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal, Uttar Pradesh Yuva Udyog Vyapar Mandal, and its Mahila (Women’s) Unit was held at the organisation’s headquarters under the leadership of National President Sandeep Bansal. During the session, Bansal expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for declaring Bhamashah Jayanti as Vyapari Kalyan Diwas, a historic first for the trader community in independent India.
Bansal said, “Just as we honour teachers, workers, and children with dedicated days, for the first time, traders have been officially recognised and honoured by the state. This initiative will be a landmark in the history of the business community.”
He also emphasized the need to strengthen the Trader Security Cell, established by the Uttar Pradesh government, suggesting mandatory monthly meetings in every district to ensure immediate redressal of traders’ grievances.

Key Decisions Taken:
- Trader committees will be formed in every assembly constituency within two months to enhance the organisation’s grassroots strength.
- The membership drive will continue without pause to bring more traders into the fold.
- The organisation’s youth and women wings will be restructured within three months, followed by the hosting of major conventions.

The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to elevate the trader community’s voice across Uttar Pradesh, while also aligning with the developmental vision set by the government.
