Agra: In a strong and determined move, Agra Commissionerate Police has intensified its crackdown on crimes against women, sending a clear message of zero tolerance to all police officials. A high-level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Additional Police Commissioner, focusing on pending cases under ITSSO (Investigation Tracking System for Sexual Offences) and CAW (Crime Against Women).
The meeting saw in-depth deliberations on the current state of women-related crime investigations, emphasizing timely resolution and quality investigation. Station House Officers (SHOs) were directed to ensure that no delay or laxity is tolerated in sensitive cases, and that justice is swiftly delivered to the victims.
Officials were sternly warned that there should be no compromise on the quality of investigation. Clear-cut directives were issued for time-bound disposal of pending cases and special strategies were formed to provide quick justice to complainants.


The Commissionerate has taken a serious stance on women’s safety and announced concrete action plans to ensure efficient handling of all women-related complaints. Agra Police is now actively rolling out an aggressive action plan to address these issues and has given top priority to women’s security.
The Commissionerate is preparing to implement a zero-tolerance policy against crimes targeting women, with special attention to prompt action in sensitive cases. The review meeting culminated in a strict roadmap, where accountability, swift justice, and quality of investigation remain the core focus areas.
