Lucknow – Law and order concerns have resurfaced in the Saadatganj police station limits, where local miscreants reportedly assaulted a youth near a Gomti Nagar Hanuman Temple, leaving him severely injured.
The incident took place when the victim, identified as Ali, was returning home on his bike. According to eyewitnesses, a stone accidentally struck the tire of his motorcycle and subsequently hit a parked vehicle nearby. This minor mishap sparked a heated argument with some local goons, who then stopped Ali and launched a violent assault on him without provocation.
As Ali lay injured, the miscreants called for his family to come to the scene. When his elder brother arrived to intervene, he too was attacked with stones and beaten mercilessly, sustaining serious injuries.
The entire episode reportedly occurred in the Bauli outpost area under Saadatganj police station. Locals have expressed outrage and fear over the increasing influence of local musclemen and the apparent lack of timely police action.
Police are investigating the matter, but no official arrests have been confirmed at the time of this report. The victims’ families are demanding swift justice and better security in the area.
