Paresh Rawal Bows Out of Hera Pheri 3, Returns Signing Amount with Interest

Paresh Rawal Bows Out of Hera Pheri 3, Returns Signing Amount with Interest – Was Signed for Rs. 15 Crores
Mumbai: In a surprising turn of events, veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially stepped away from Hera Pheri 3. Initially signed for a whopping Rs. 15 crores, the actor has now returned Rs. 11 lakhs—the signing amount—with 15% interest, following his exit from the much-anticipated comedy franchise.
Sources close to the matter revealed that Rawal had concerns over the payment terms. While he was promised Rs. 15 crores in total, Rs. 14.89 crores were to be paid only a month after the film’s release, which is expected no sooner than late 2026 or 2027. With the shoot yet to begin and the film’s timeline unclear, the delay was a major factor in his decision to walk away.
Reportedly, only the promo teaser was shot on the set of Bhooth Bangla, leaving fans speculating about the film’s future. The Hera Pheri franchise, known for its cult following since its debut in 2000, might now face challenges in maintaining its iconic trio chemistry. With Akshay Kumar’s production house suing Paresh Rawal for Rs. 25 crores, the exit adds a legal twist to an already dramatic saga.
