Lucknow: In a swift and coordinated effort between the public and police, an 18-year-old thief was caught red-handed after attempting to steal a gold chain from a jewelry shop in Lucknow’s Sushant Golf City area. The stolen chain was recovered from his possession.
According to Press Note No. 975 issued by the Lucknow Police Commissionerate, the incident occurred on April 29, 2025, when the accused, identified as Ritik Tiwari alias Harsh Tiwari, son of Manoj Kumar Tiwari, originally from Sidhouli, Rampurkala Police Station, Sitapur District, entered Shree Jewellers, a shop owned by Aviral Shukla, a resident of Khurdahi Bazaar, Lucknow.
