“One India, Harmonious India”: Ambedkar Marathon Held on Eve of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s 135th Birth Anniversary

Lucknow: On the eve of the 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, a grand event titled the “Dr. Ambedkar Marathon” was organized under the leadership of senior BJP leader Neeraj Singh. The event was held to celebrate Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and to promote the spirit of unity and equality across the nation, reflecting the motto “Ek Bharat, Samaras Bharat.”

The marathon was flagged off by Cabinet Minister  Dharampal Singh, who lit the ceremonial torch to mark the beginning of the race. Winners of the marathon were later felicitated by the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh,  Brajesh Pathak, in a vibrant award ceremony.

The event witnessed the gracious presence of several dignitaries including Lucknow Mayor  Sushma Kharkwal,  Anand Dwivedi,  MLA  Yogesh Sharma, and  Mukesh Sharma, whose participation added further stature and grandeur to the event.

Kiran Foundation extended its heartfelt gratitude to  Ishan Sharma for providing them the opportunity to be part of this inspiring event. The foundation also acknowledged the continued support of  Prashant Seth, Abhishek Gupta, Atul Singh (BJP), Abhay Upadhyay, and Nikhil, who have always played an active role in the foundation’s journey forward.

A special note of thanks was offered to the foundation’s mentor,  Shivpal Sawariya, and Municipal Councillor  Gauri Sawariya, whose encouragement and guidance remain invaluable.

The event was a powerful reminder of Dr. Ambedkar’s vision for an inclusive and progressive India and served as a fitting tribute to his life and ideals. The spearhead of the Foundation, Vishal Srivastava said he was optimistic of the way forward.
