Spreading the Message of Cleanliness with a Floral Holi Celebration

Lucknow: The festival of Holi, known for its colors and joy, was celebrated with a special touch by Surabhi Cultural Group through the “Surabhi Rangotsav” program. The event was organized at Surya Nagar, Manak Nagar, and Hanuman Garhi Temple with underprivileged children, making their celebrations even more special.

As part of the initiative, the children were gifted abir (colored powder), stationery, fruits, gujiyas, and papads. With the aim of bringing smiles to their faces, the children also participated in a painting activity, spreading awareness about proper waste disposal, water conservation, and maintaining a green and clean environment.

The highlight of the event was the celebration of Holi with flowers, filling the atmosphere with the fragrance of roses and marigolds. The program was conducted by young poet Mohini Mishra, while special guests, including Councilor Devendra Singh Yadav Jeetu, Chairman Shyam Mishra, General Secretary Suraj Prasad Srivastava, NCC Cadet Tanu Kumari, and Mamta Saxena, extended their Holi greetings.

The event was coordinated by organization secretary Shailendra Saxena, ensuring a memorable and meaningful celebration.
