Lucknow: In a major breakthrough, the police team of Sushant Golf City, led by Station In-charge Anjani Mishra, successfully apprehended two notorious thieves involved in stealing mobile phones at a music concert.
The arrested suspects, identified as Akash Tambe and Khateeb Sheikh, residents of Mumbai, were caught red-handed with six expensive mobile phones worth approximately Rs 5 lakh.
The duo had been targeting music events to execute their crimes, taking advantage of the crowd to steal high-end mobile devices. Following a swift operation, the police nabbed the culprits and recovered the stolen items.
The accused have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings have been initiated to ensure their prosecution. The authorities have urged concertgoers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to prevent such incidents in the future.
