Prayagraj: On the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi inaugurated a grand exhibition and cultural program at the Kumbh Kala Complex in the Mahakumbh Mela area. Addressing the gathering, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s immense significance, not just as India’s most populous state but also as a leader in culture, history, and prosperity.
Nandi emphasized that the world’s attention is focused on India, particularly during the Mahakumbh 2025, a mega festival of faith and tradition. Millions of pilgrims and visitors from across the globe are currently in Prayagraj’s Sangam region, witnessing the unparalleled cultural and spiritual legacy of Uttar Pradesh. He shared that over 100 million people have already taken a holy dip in the Sangam, with an estimated 400–500 million visitors expected by February 26. The management of such an enormous crowd, along with traffic and security, is a monumental challenge that Uttar Pradesh has successfully addressed, earning widespread praise. The state’s efficient organization has become a subject of study for universities and researchers worldwide.
Drawing inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Heritage with Development,” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken significant strides to elevate Uttar Pradesh on the global stage. Minister Nandi remarked that the state is moving swiftly on the expressway of modernization and progress, while proudly upholding its cultural and historical heritage. Iconic landmarks such as the grand Shri Ram Temple, the divine Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and the awe-inspiring Mahakumbh celebrations coexist with Uttar Pradesh’s solid advancements toward becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.

Describing the state as a confluence of cultural, economic, and industrial growth, Nandi stated, “The new Uttar Pradesh of a new India is advancing with renewed energy and momentum. Our government is fully committed to making Uttar Pradesh the crown jewel of India’s economy. Ensuring the prosperity, progress, and happiness of the 240 million people of Uttar Pradesh remains our top priority.”
The grand celebrations showcased the state’s vibrant heritage and its journey toward a brighter future, reflecting a perfect blend of tradition and development.
