Lucknow: There will be a tennis extravaganza in the capital in December. Players from all over the state will reach here for the state level tennis competition. This competition will be played here from December 1 to December 8. This competition will be organized in sub junior and junior categories.
For this, players will start arriving here from November 31. According to the officials of Uttar Pradesh Tennis Association, sub junior category matches will be organized from December 1 to 4 and junior category matches will be organized from November 5 to 8.
Boys singles, girls singles, boys doubles, girls doubles and mixed matches will be played in both the categories. Players up to 14 years of age will be included in sub junior and players from 15 to 18 years of age will be included in junior category.
All the matches will be played in the tennis court of Vijayant Khand Stadium located in Gomti Nagar. According to the secretary of Uttar Pradesh Tennis Association, Puneet Agarwal, preparations for the event are going on.
