Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission honored with best stall

Noida: Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission was honored with the Best Stall Award at the UP International Trade Show held at India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida. In this event, the pavilion of UP Skill Development Mission was a special center of attraction among the visitors, where various emerging technical and vocational skills were demonstrated live.

On this occasion, Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh and Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Khadi and Village Industries, Silk Industry, Handloom and Textiles Rakesh Sachan honored the Additional Mission Director of Skill Development Mission, Priya Singh, by presenting her a trophy as the award for the best stall. This award is a proof of the excellent performance of the mission and its dedication towards skill development of the youth.

Expressing pride in this achievement, State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal said that through Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, the youth of the state are being trained with new technologies, so that they can compete at the global level. The honor received by this stall proves that our state is progressing rapidly in the field of skill.

Principal Secretary Alok Kumar said that many important skills are being demonstrated live in this pavilion, including medical support, solar panel installation, virtual reality (mining simulator and painting and fire fighting simulator), hand embroidery, foreign language learning, metal engraving, animation, drone technology and panchkarma technician. Special interest is being seen among the visitors towards these skills, which is opening a new door of possibilities for the youth of the state.
