All round development a reality in U.P. says Minister

Mainpuri: Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya, in the dignified presence of Minister of State for Social Welfare, Asim Arun, other public representatives and senior officials, organized Lakhpati Didi Samman program in the premises of primary school of village Simrau of development block Karhal of district Mainpuri and in the village chaupal, under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, distributed CCL worth Rs 02.10 crore to 35 self help groups of development block Karhal, Rs 01.98 crore to 33 self help groups of development block Ghiror, Rs 01.32 crore to 22 groups of development block Barnahal. Distribution, CIF approval letter of Rs 73.50 lakh to 49 groups of development block Karhal, Barnahal, Ghiror, Rs 20 lakh to Ankush Kumar for wooden furniture under Chief Minister Youth Self Employment Scheme, Rs 10 lakh to Meenu for wooden furniture, Rs 07 lakh to Raghavendra for tent house, loan approval letter of Rs 03 lakh to Suman for clothes, sewing and embroidery under One District-One Product Scheme, Commendation certificate to Lakhpati Didi Kusuma, Neetu, Aarti, Vandana, Ekta Devi, Anuradha, Shashi, Savitri, Brijwala, Preeti, Mohini, Kalpana, Savita of self help groups, Golden cards to Vimla Devi, Anil Kumar, Udayveer Singh, Sundar Singh, Santoshi Devi under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Scheme, PPT to sanitation workers Manoj Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Amit Kumar. Kit, free mustard seed mini kit to farmers Badan Singh, Kripal Singh, Bhoop Singh, Phal Singh, Bablu, house keys to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana beneficiaries Soni, Sarita, Mamta, Phool Kumar, Seema and nutrition kit to Tanu, Pooja under Godh Bharai program, supplementary food to Aasu, Dev under Annaprasanna Yojana, free gas stove cylinder to Shashi Prabha, Kanya Devi, Rani Devi, Aarti Devi, Neetu Devi under Ujjwala Yojana, were distributed.

While addressing the program, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the double engine government under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Center and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the state is working to increase the pace of development in the country and the state at a fourfold pace. Uttar Pradesh is developing in all directions.

The Prime Minister of the country took a historic decision to provide clean water to the countrymen through taps at their homes and this decision is gradually being implemented on the ground, in village Simrau, clean drinking water is being provided through taps to every house for the last 06 months. He said that some time ago, the villagers had to make rounds to MPs, MLAs, other public representatives to install hand pumps for the availability of drinking water, after the installation of hand pumps, all the people of the village had to face difficulty in getting water, but today clean drinking water is available to every villager without any discrimination. Under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister of the country, free food grains are being provided continuously under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana from the Corona period till today. He said that some time back when a member of a poor person’s family was suffering from serious diseases, he had to sell his house, land, jewellery for treatment, but after the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, now free health services up to Rs 05 lakh are being provided to poor people for the treatment of serious diseases, in addition to this, golden cards are also being made for people of 70 years of age, so that they can also get the benefit of free health facilities up to Rs 05 lakh in case of illness. He said that every poor person should have his own permanent house, for which a large number of eligible beneficiaries have been benefited under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban-Rural, Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana-Rural, along with this, after assuming office for the third time, the Prime Minister has decided to provide benefits of the scheme on priority to such families who still do not have permanent houses, under which survey work is being conducted village-to-village. He said that the Central and State Government is working towards ending poverty, the work of bringing smile on the faces of the poor is being done by reaching the benefits of schemes run for the welfare of the poor to the eligible person.

The Deputy CM said that to make women self-reliant and self-sufficient, the Central and State Government have formed self-help groups in every village in the country and state and by connecting women to them, the work of bringing change in their lives was done by the Central and State Government, arrangements were made for the sale of the material produced by the women of the self-help group. He said that the target has been set to make 03 crores in the country and 50 Lakhpati Didi in the state, for this, arrangements are being made for the sale of the products being made by the women of the self-help group in the country and the world through the portal, so that the women of the group can get a fair price for their products and they become financially strong. The Prime Minister of the country decided that every penny recovered from those who loot the poor will be used for the welfare of the poor, every person will be assured of basic facilities like roads, water, electricity, education, medical facilities under Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas.

Minister of State for Social Welfare Asim Arun while addressing the villagers and women of self-help groups present in the Chaupal program said that the Prime Minister of the country dreams of India becoming a developed country, India’s 05 trillion dollar economy will be developed.

He said that this would be possible only when the income of every family increases four times, agro-industrial activities get a boost, farmers increase their income by doing animal husbandry and fisheries along with farming, every person should develop, everyone should be educated, everyone should get availability of basic facilities and work is being done in this direction.
