Lucknow: In the debate competition organized by the IEEE WIE Affinity group under the IEEE Student Branch in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of IET Lucknow in the two-day program TECHNOVATION on 19th and 20th November, 2024, the team of Avnish Mishra and Utkarsh, students of CSE-IT branch of BBD College, Lucknow, succeeded in securing the first position and the team of Aditya Singh and Drishti Rana, students of Chemical Engineering of IET Institute, succeeded in securing the second position.
Also, in the digital poster making competition, the team of Harsh Mishra of CSE-SF branch of IET Institute succeeded in securing the first position and the team of Mayank Tripathi of Chemical Engineering branch succeeded in securing the second position. For the debate competition organized in the program, Dr. Arunima Verma of the Electrical Engineering Department of the Institute and Engr. Anurag Yadav and Engr. Shahneela Jamal Kidwai of the ECE Department as well as Dr. RCS Chauhan and Dr. Rajiv Kumar Singh of the ECE Department and Dr. Nitin Anand Srivastava of the Electrical Engineering Department were present as the chief judges in the digital poster making competition.
The program was concluded by awarding all the winners on 20 November 2024 by the Institute’s IEEE Branch Counselor Professor Neelam Srivastava and the judges present. The program promoted critical thinking and creativity among the participants as well as highlighted innovative solutions and diverse perspectives on technological advancements. Along with this, it provided a platform to debate ethical challenges and showcase future ideas, enriching knowledge in engineering and technology.
