The world is watching the spirit of Indian players in the Paralympics in Paris
CM Yogi said that after becoming the Prime Minister in 2014, sports and sports activities are also important in the programs presented by Narendra Modi for the concept of developed India. Khelo India Khelo, Fit India Movement, MP Sports Competition, Village-National Level Competitions are being organized. People from every section are joining these events.
He said that the whole country and the world is watching the spirit of Indian players in the Paralympics in Paris, how our Divyang players have also worked to prove their talent and sharpness by performing brilliantly. This scene is also a matter of happiness for us because it is also realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.
Medal winning players linked with direct recruitment
CM Yogi said that under the guidance of PM Modi, a comprehensive action plan has been taken forward for sports and sports activities in Uttar Pradesh. We have also made a sports policy. Action is being taken to make the players who win medals in Olympics, Commonwealth, Asian Games and World Championships a part of the Uttar Pradesh Police Force through direct recruitment. So far, we have linked more than 500 such players with the action of direct recruitment in Uttar Pradesh Police.
The Chief Minister said that their excellent performance is contributing to giving new momentum to the Uttar Pradesh Police Force today. Uttar Pradesh is the state that is taking forward the program of building playgrounds in 57000 gram panchayats, mini stadiums in 825 development blocks and stadiums in 75 districts on a war footing to promote sports activities.
