Unimaginable photographs by ace lensmen decorated under one roof

– Inauguration of the 5-day eighth photo exhibition of Typa

– Best photographers who sent photographs on the theme of UNICEF were honored

Lucknow: On the eve of World Photography Day, the 8th photo exhibition was organized by ‘The Youth Photojournalist Association’ (TYPA) and UNICEF at the Lalit Kala Academy in Aliganj. This 5-day photo exhibition was inaugurated by UNICEF State Head Nipul Gupta, senior photographer Manoj Chhabra, Anil Risal Singh and Typa President Shahir Siddiqui.

In the program, UNICEF communication specialist Nipun Gupta said that he has got an opportunity to do something new by joining Typa. UNICEF had given two themes in this 8th photo exhibition of Typa. Which included Climate Change: Healthy Environment for Healthy Child and Happy Parenting. On which 190 applications were received from all over the country. This includes many states including Karnataka, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Delhi, Bihar, Haryana, Bangalore, UP, Madhya Pradesh, Assam. According to Nipun Gupta, out of a total of 190 applications, photos of 135 participants were shortlisted. These included photojournalists, photographers and photography enthusiasts aged between 15 to 65 years. Out of the total shortlisted photos, 75 photos have been displayed in the exhibition.

On this occasion, Patron Manoj Chhabra, Vikas Babu, President Shahir Siddiqui, Vice President V. Sunil, Ashutosh Tripathi, Satyendra Mehrotra, General Secretary Sharad Shukla, Secretary Kishan Singh, Joint Secretary Sunil Kumar Raidas, Treasurer Deepak Gupta, Accounts Minister Ashu Singh, Danish Atiq, Executive Member Anil Jaiswal, Mohammad Muqeed, Sumit Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Suraj Kumar, Ishu Gurjar and Shashwat Mishra along with many other senior photographers were present.

Unimaginable photos will captivate the mind

A total of 110 photos have been displayed in the photo exhibition. In which all kinds of amazing, unbelievable and unimaginable pictures including Ram Mandir, Ram Mandir, leader-city, beauty of the city, environment, animals will captivate the audience.

Subhjit and Durgesh Nandini became winners

President Shahir Siddiqui said that UNICEF honored the participants who sent the best photos on Climate Change: Healthy Environment for Healthy Child and Happy Parenting. According to Mr. Siddiqui, in Climate Change: Healthy Environment for Healthy Child, Subhojit Ghoshal of Dhanbad, Jharkhand was awarded first, Vibhusha of Bangalore second, Afzal Adib of Bihar third and Farheen Nazmi, a Divyang participant from Mirzapur was awarded a special prize. Similarly, Durgesh Nandini of Jaipur was the winner in Happy Parenting. While Qamar Naeem Ansari was awarded second, Shashwat Mishra third and Dr. Narendra Kumar was awarded a special prize. President Shahir said that the Special Jury Award was given to Neeraj Kumar and Gayatri Gupta.

This is special in the five-day exhibition

1. On August 20, a workshop will be organized by renowned cinematographer Vikas Babu on lighting and composition.

2. On August 21, senior journalist and street photography expert Saurabh Srivastava will give some tips on street photography.

3. On August 22, College of Arts and Fine Arts lecturer Atul Hundo will share his views on the topic of ‘Mobileography’.
