Local police forces have been instructed to conduct continuous monitoring through poster parties at sensitive areas to prevent any untoward incidents.
Strict Surveillance at Temples and Sensitive Areas
In light of Mahashivratri, Lucknow Police Commissionerate has enhanced vigilance across sensitive zones in the city. CCTV cameras are actively monitoring temple premises, ensuring real-time security surveillance. Drones are being used to oversee crowded temple areas and key locations. The local police force remains on high alert, with increased foot patrols to prevent any possible disturbances.
Traffic Management and Diversions
To facilitate devotees, traffic diversions have been put in place around major temples to ensure smooth movement. Special police forces have been stationed to regulate traffic flow and prevent congestion. Barricading has been set up around key temples to streamline pedestrian and vehicular movement, ensuring a hassle-free experience for worshippers. Additional traffic police personnel have been deployed in high-footfall areas to manage crowds efficiently.
Special Focus on Women’s Safety

Female police officers have been deployed at key temple sites to provide a safe and comfortable environment. Security personnel have also been instructed to manage the crowd effectively and ensure proper safety protocols within temple premises.
Emergency Services and Public Advisory
Emergency services, including UP 112, ambulance teams, and fire departments, have been put on high alert to respond swiftly to any unforeseen incidents. The police have urged citizens to refrain from spreading or believing in rumors and to report any suspicious activity immediately. Strict legal action will be taken against individuals posting inflammatory or objectionable content on social media.
