Lucknow: A one-day job fair was inaugurated at Charak Institute of Education, Lucknow, by the institution’s Chairperson, Ritu Singh, along with Chief Guest Himanshu Verma, District Employment Officer, Himanshu Singh, Assistant Employment Officer, and Principal Dr. Anuradha Tripathi. The inauguration took place with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati.
Addressing the students present at the event, Ritu Singh emphasized that the institute will continue to organize such job fairs to support and guide students in their career pursuits. Principal Dr. Anuradha Tripathi expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries and highlighted that the progress of the nation depends on education and employment. She further stressed that the institute focuses on providing not just education but also employment opportunities.
The Chief Guest, Himanshu Verma, briefed students about various employment programs run by the government and appreciated the large number of attendees, extending his best wishes to them.
Dr. Seema Shukla, Head of the Placement Cell, stated that over 1,000 students registered and participated in interviews at the fair. Out of these, 476 students were shortlisted and selected by various companies.
The job fair featured 15 companies offering around 1,000 job vacancies. Representatives from industries such as banking, finance, automobile, insurance, BPO, aviation, hospitality, tourism, and wellness sectors participated, providing job and internship opportunities.
The “Udaan” Job Fair, held on March 10, 2025, witnessed the active coordination of Dr. Seema Shukla and Dr. Sarvesh Singh, along with co-coordinators Akanksha Awasthi and Satyendra Prasad. Other key members included Shashikant Mishra, Shivkesh Dwivedi, faculty members, and a large number of students who attended the event.
