Lucknow: Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas (Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas 2024) was celebrated. Under this, ‘Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Silent Padyatra’ was taken out under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister first offered flowers to the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. After this, the padyatra started from the statue site of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and reached Lok Bhavan.
During this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was walking with a placard in his hand. It expressed the pain of those who suffered the tragedy. After reaching Lok Bhavan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited the archive exhibition based on the tragedy of Partition Vibhishika.
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma, State Government Ministers Jaiveer Singh, Balveer Singh Aulakh, MLA Yogesh Shukla, OP Srivastava, Legislative Council Member Mahendra Singh, Ramchandra Pradhan, Mukesh Sharma, Anoop Gupta, Umesh Dwivedi, BJP Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi and many public representatives and dignitaries were present in the silent march to commemorate the Partition Horrors.
