Lucknow: In Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the date of voting in Lucknow district is fixed for May 20, 2024. In this election, the Election Commission of India has set a target of minimum 70 percent voting. To achieve the goal, Municipal Corporation Lucknow is organizing various activities, making people election literate, communicating locally, organizing forums and awareness programs to create awareness among the voters of Lucknow district.
Awareness rallies were organized in various wards of all the zones of Municipal Corporation Lucknow, in which various officials contacted the local citizens and made them aware about increasing the voting percentage in the elections.
In continuation of the above, an awareness rally was organized with more than 500 people in 6 wards of Zone 01 under the direction of Zonal Officer Amarjeet Yadav in the presence of the concerned Municipal Corporation staff, BLO and Supervisor.
Similar scenes played out in Zone 02, Zone 03,Zone 04, Zone 05 Zone 06 and Zone 08 among others.
