Gorakhpur: The entrance examination for GNM, B.Sc. Honors, Biotechnology, Bio Chemistry, Microbiology, Medical Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology, B.Sc. Honors Agriculture, D. Pharma, B. Pharma Allopathy was conducted successfully in two shifts  at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University located at Balapar, Gorakhpur. 2580 (90 percent) candidates appeared in both the shifts. On Sunday, 3211 candidates have given the entrance examination for B.Sc. Nursing.

University Admission Committee Coordinator Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh said that 2580 (90 percent) candidates appeared in both the shifts. Innovation was used by including questions based on life values ​​in Indian culture focused on the National Education Policy in the question paper. Apart from various areas of Uttar Pradesh, candidates from Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Tripura, Nagaland, Assam, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Kerala also appeared in the entrance examination.

Entrance exam for other courses will be held on 26th

University Vice Chancellor Major General Dr. Atul Vajpayee and Registrar Dr. Pradeep Kumar Rao inspected all the important places including the examination centers in both the shifts and took stock of the arrangements. The entrance exam was held at Guru Shri Gorakhnath College of Nursing and Guru Gorakhnath Institute of Medical Sciences. Just like the nursing entrance exam, the university had made arrangements for jaggery and cold water at many places in the campus for the candidates and their parents.

Arrangements were made for the parents to sit in Mahant Digvijaynath Ayurveda Hospital. Along with this, they were given the facility of free medical checkup by organizing a health camp. Along with this, the candidates and parents took a pledge to vote by taking selfies at the ‘Chalo Vote Karen’ selfie point durinf the  festival of democracy in the university. The examination of ANM, Diploma Lab Technician, Emergency and Trauma Care Technician, Optometry, Orthopedic and Plaster Technician, Dialysis Technician, Anesthesia and Critical Care Technician, and BBA Honors Logistics will be conducted on 26th May.

More than three thousand candidates have given the entrance exam for B.Sc Nursing.

The entrance exam for B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing was held in two shifts on Sunday at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University. In this exam, 3211 candidates (92 percent) gave the exam in both the shifts. The special thing was that instead of depriving the candidates who could not appear in the first shift due to some reasons, they were given a chance in the second shift. The candidates and their parents praised the arrangements for the exam. Controller of Examinations Amit Singh and Coordinator of Admission Committee Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh said that candidates from Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Deoria, Kushinagar, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Varanasi as well as Bihar and other states also participated in the entrance exam.
