Ayodhya: Ramlala’s Pran Pratishtha was done in the new temple on 22 January by Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidst a very grand ceremony. About eight thousand guests from India and abroad attended this biggest ceremony of the country.
Many rituals and other programs were held in it. To make this entire Pran Pratishtha ceremony historic, the Ram Mandir Trust had spent 113 crores.
In the meeting of the Ram Mandir Trust held recently, the account of the income and expenditure of the last financial year was placed before all the trustees. In this, information was also given about the expenditure incurred in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
Preparations for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ramlala were started from December 2023 itself. The ritual of Pran Pratishtha ceremony started from January 16 itself. More than 100 Vedic Acharyas from Varanasi including Nepal and America were involved in it.
More than one crore has been spent in this ritual. Apart from this, for the convenience of devotees coming from the country and abroad, a tent city was constructed by the trust in Bagh Bijesi, Maniramdas Ki Chhavni and Karsevak Puram.
The highest expenditure of 35.97 crores has been shown in the construction of the tent city. Apart from this, free food prasad was also arranged for the devotees by the Ram Mandir Trust. The trust has spent more than five crore rupees in the food area. More than five thousand devotees used to eat food in the food area every day.
After Pran Pratishtha, the trust started Rag Seva in Ram Mandir. In the Rag Seva that lasted for 60 days, famous artists of various genres of the country had gathered. Many famous artists performed Rag Seva in the court of Ramlala. 93 lakhs have been spent in this program.
Apart from this, Akshat Poojan program was started before Pran Pratishtha. Under this, the worshipped Akshat was distributed from house to house and the trust appealed to the devotees to perform rituals on the day of Pran Pratishtha in their homes, villages, neighborhoods and cities. The trustees have been informed about the expenditure of more than 30 crores in this scheme too.
