Lucknow: Lalit Kala Akademi is working for the upliftment of art by organizing various types of activities. In this series, the monthly program of presentation/lecture based on the works of working artists at Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Aliganj, Lucknow, under the title ‘Vardhani’ (PPT presentation) was organized. All the artists made a PPT presentation of the artworks created in their genre in front of the guest of this program, Dr. Vandana Sehgal, Dean and Principal, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and shared their art journey with other artists.
Arunesh Vasudev, Ceramics presented his artefacts by creating different clothes on a vase in ceramic, Mohita Shukla, sculptor presented Rudraksha, while Shailesh Kumar Verma, sculptor presented his emotions in his artefacts.
Dr. Vandana Sehgal, in her address praised the artworks of all the artists who were present in the program. She said that this program is inspiring for other artists and said that this is a commendable step by the regional center Lucknow. Dr. Devendra Tripathi, Regional Secretary, in his address mentioned that “Vardhani” is a series of monthly programs. Through this program every month, the working artists of the center present their creations.
