Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay shows yoga finnesse

Lucknow/Saharanpur: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, ministers and officials were entrusted with the responsibility in various districts to successfully organize International Yoga Day in Uttar Pradesh. As part of the plan, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay inaugurated the 10th International Yoga Day program organized in Saharanpur district as the chief guest and also practiced yoga himself.

Yogendra Upadhyay said that yoga is an ancient heritage of India and it plays an important role in keeping our life healthy and balanced. He told the people present the importance of various yoga asanas and inspired them to practice it regularly. He said, yoga is important not only for physical health but also for mental and spiritual peace. It should be included in our daily routine so that we can build a healthy society.

In commemoration of International Yoga Day, from 15 June to 21 June 2024, ‘Yoga Week’ was celebrated, with the aim of providing the benefits of yoga to as many people as possible. During this, yoga sessions were organized in various educational institutions, government offices and public places.

During Yoga Week, various programs were organized in Saharanpur, in which children, elderly and women participated enthusiastically. Everyone unanimously pledged to include yoga in their daily routine and appreciated this initiative by the government. Yogendra Upadhyay thanked everyone at the end of the program and wished them a healthy, prosperous and yoga-filled life.
