3 young Indians meet their tragic fate in Georgia

Georgia/ Washington: Three Indian-American students were killed and two others were injured in a horrific road accident in the US state of Georgia. Due to high speed the car overturned and crashed.

According to the local police, the deceased have been identified as Shriya Avasarala, Anvi Sharma and Aryan Joshi. The age of all three is said to be 18 years. Reportedly this accident happened on Monday while driving on Westside Parkway, north of Maxwell Road. All the victims have been identified as Aryan Joshi, Shriya Avasarala and Anvi Sharma.

Who were Shriya Avasarala, Aryan Joshi and Anvi Sharma?

Aryan Joshi has recently completed his senior year at Alpharetta High School, while Shriya Avasarala and Anvi Sharma are first year students at Georgia University. The injured students included Ritwak Sompalli, a student at Georgia State University and the driver of the Honda Accord, and Mohammed Liakath, a senior at Alpharetta High School.

Driver lost control, two died on the spot

According to Alpharetta Police, speeding may be the main factor in the accident. They are conducting a thorough investigation to find out the exact cause of the accident. The accident occurred when the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to overturn and land upside down in a row of trees. Aryan Joshi and Shriya Avasarala died on the spot. Anvi Sharma, who was sitting in the rear of the vehicle, was taken to North Fulton Hospital, where she died. The injured are being treated in the same hospital.
