Women learn spice production first hand

Vindhyachal: A five-day training program for spice production was successfully concluded at NTPC Vindhyachal under CSR in collaboration with Indian Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmedabad.

Under this, on the first day of five days, the women who received training were given training on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial mindset, team building, business modeling. Hemant Singh, Cofounder Fasnik Agri Business Pvt Ltd (incubated startup of I3 Foundation) presented examples of successful women entrepreneurs through a presentation to the women and told them that women can also become entrepreneurs. They were explained about networking. Project Officer Dilip Singh Kushwaha from EDII explained group enterprise, social media marketing and innovation to women in the session.

Alok Singh Gaharwar explained supply chain and inventory management to the women in detail. A tour was conducted where the women saw live the process of how Masala and other food items are processed and how it is packaged by machine etc. NTPC Vindhyanagar Indian Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmedabad is continuously making efforts to connect women with self-employment and make them self-reliant.
