Traders aspire for encroachment free Lucknow

Lucknow: A meeting of Vanijya Bandhu was held in Abdul Kalam Auditorium in Collectorate under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, Surya Pal Gangwar. Many trade boards of the capital including Uttar Pradesh Adarsh ​​Vyapar Mandal attended the meeting. All the trade leaders including trade leader Sanjay Gupta raised the issue of encroachment in Bhootnath, Aminabad, Patrakarpuram, Naka Charbagh markets vociferously in the meeting.

The District Magistrate asked the prominent trade leaders to make an action plan and give suggestions to remove encroachment from the markets. State President of Uttar Pradesh Adarsh ​​Vyapar Mandal Sanjay Gupta submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate and told him that the Transit Oriented Development Scheme has been implemented by the government within 500 meters of the Metro line, but the Transit Oriented Development Scheme has not been implemented by the Housing Development Department in the capital yet, whereas Lucknow Development Authority has implemented it. Due to this, the traders coming under the limits of Housing Development are not able to get the benefit of this scheme. He demanded the District Magistrate to give instructions to the concerned officials for this.
