Australian Legend to Play Key Role in Shaping Lucknow Super Giants’ Future

Lucknow: Former Australian all-rounder Tom Moody has been appointed as the Global Director of Cricket by the RPSG Group, marking a major strategic move ahead of the IPL 2026 season. In his new role, Moody will oversee operations, strategy, and long-term cricket development programs for all RPSG-owned franchises.

The RPSG Group’s cricket franchises include Lucknow Super Giants (IPL), Durban Super Giants (SA20), and Manchester Originals (The Hundred). As Global Director, Moody will be responsible for creating a unified cricketing philosophy across all teams, focusing on performance enhancement, player development, and sustained excellence on and off the field.

Having been part of Australia’s two ODI World Cup-winning squads, Tom Moody brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role. In the upcoming IPL season, he will work closely with Head Coach Justin Langer, his former Australian teammate, and Strategic Advisor Kane Williamson, combining cricketing intellect and global expertise to guide Lucknow Super Giants to greater heights.
