Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that during the Lok Sabha elections in the month of April-May, you must have heard about the Khata Khat scheme. People were made to fill bonds of Rs 1 lakh each. A promise was made to send Rs 8500 every month, but the Khata Khat scheme people are nowhere to be found in the country.
The Khata Khat people have again gone for picnic as soon as the elections are over. When the election season comes, the Khata Khat people will come again to divide the society and spread anarchy. He said that now it is possible to get a government job in Uttar Pradesh without any recommendation and transaction. For the last seven and a half years, our government has been distributing appointment letters to the youth following the rules of reservation.
CM Yogi Adityanath addressed the appointment letter distribution program of 1036 candidates selected under the fair and transparent recruitment process by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission in the Lok Bhavan auditorium.
He said that the process of appointment to 26394 posts was completed by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Selection Commission between 2012 and 2017. In this, general category youth were selected for 13469 posts, OBC for 6966 posts, SC for 5634 posts and ST category youth for 327 posts. The percentage of OBC in this was only 26.38 percent. Whereas in our government, 46,675 recruitments were done through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Selection Commission.
In this, a total of 17929 OBC candidates were selected, whose percentage is 38.41. If the percentage of OBC, SC and ST is added, then more than 60 percent of the candidates in the double engine government have been selected through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Selection Commission.
CM Yogi said that a total of 19312 candidates were selected through the Subordinate Services Selection Commission during the previous government (from 2012 to 2017), while between the year 2017 to 2024, more than 42 thousand 409 youth have been linked to the selection process in the double engine government. In our government, they have been given appointment letters following the complete system of reservation prescribed by the Constitution.
Today all these youth are contributing to the development of the state. CM Yogi said that today the recruitment process is being taken forward in a transparent and fair manner in the state. He clearly said that if anyone messes with the future of the youth of the state in the double engine government, then he will give such punishment, which will set an example in front of the country and the world. He said that those who have no work are misleading the youth by spreading rumours.
CM Yogi said that before 2017, the youth of Uttar Pradesh were facing an identity crisis. The economy of the state was at the sixth-seventh position in the country, but now when the youth of this state goes to any state of the country, they proudly call themselves from Uttar Pradesh. The economy of the state is at the second position in the country.
Uttar Pradesh is the state with the best economic progress compared to any other state in the country. Uttar Pradesh is rapidly moving forward the resolutions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Uttar Pradesh is counted among the leading states of the country in effectively implementing the schemes related to farmers, women and the poor. CM Yogi said that under the guidance of PM Modi, appointment letter distribution programs are being conducted from time to time under ‘Mission Employment’ in the state.

CM Yogi distributed appointment letters to a total of 1036 youth including 536 Assistant Research Officers (Statistics), 235 Assistant Statistical Officers, 213 Junior Assistants, Accounting Clerks, Mandi Supervisor Category-2, Mandi Inspector, 15 Cartographers/Cartographers and 37 Cartographers selected under the fair and transparent recruitment process through Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission. These youth have got appointment in Medical Health and Family Welfare, Environment, Forest, Zoo and Climate Change, Mandi Parishad, Fisheries Department, Economics and Statistics Division, Cooperative Department, Town and Rural Planning, Tourism Department, Minor Irrigation and Institutional Finance.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, Fisheries Development Minister Dr. Sanjay Kumar Nishad, Horticulture and Agricultural Marketing Minister (Independent Charge) Dinesh Pratap Singh, Forest Zoo and Climate Change Minister (Independent Charge) Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, Minister of State for Water Power Ramkesh Nishad, Minister of State for Environment, Forest Zoo and Climate Change KP Malik, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Medical Education Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and many other dignitaries were present in the program.
