New Delhi: The central government has given a budget of Rs 2,582 crore for the development of railways in Delhi division. Recently Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav claimed that 27 times more budget has been given than the previous UPA government. Between the years 2009-14, this budget was around 96 crores, which has been increased to 2,582 crores for the year 2024-25.
