LU adopts 75 TB patients on account of ‘Sewa Pakhwada’

Lucknow : On the occasion of PM Narendra Modi’s birthday ,under ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ campaign,  Lucknow University adopted 75 tuberculosis patients and distributed nutrition packets to them. Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Manuka Khanna said, “TB-free India is the resolve of our Prime Minister and we will eradicate it like polio. “She added that the drive will continue and more and more patients will be adopted.She also said the initiative was inspired by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel.
