Lucknow: There is good news for the people traveling from Varanasi to Lucknow via Ayodhya. Providing great facilities to the devotees, Northern Railway Administration has started operating MEMU special train.
This fast MEMU train will run daily starting 20th April. The average speed of the fast MEMU train will be 62.18 km per hour. The Special MEMU train will cover a distance of 323 km. It will cover the distance in record 5hours 20 minutes. Trains of the same route like Chhapra-Lucknow Junction Express take 8:45 hours, Kolkata-Jammuthavi Express takes 9:25 hours and Ganga Satluj takes 9:50 hours.
The MEMU Special 04217 special starting on Navratri will leave from Varanasi at 6:25 am. This train leaves Babatpur at 6:44 pm, Jaunpur Junction at 7:18 pm, Shahganj at 7:48 pm, Akbarpur at 8:22 pm, Ayodhya Dham at 9:02 pm, Rudauli at 9:43 pm, Daryabad at 10:13 pm, It will reach Lucknow at 11:45 via Barabanki at 11:02. Similarly, train number 04218 MEMU special will leave from Lucknow at 4:30 pm and reach Varanasi at 9:50 pm.
