Small businesses find a safe haven at trade show

Lucknow: The ‘UP International Trade Show-2024’ being organized in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh is providing entrepreneurs such a platform, which is taking their identity from local to global. The dreams of hundreds of entrepreneurs from different districts of the state got a new opportunity in the trade show. The ‘UP International Trade Show’ has opened the way for small entrepreneurs to do business not only in different cities of the country but also abroad. Sunday was the last day of the five-day trade show.

Pallavi Sharma told that businessmen from different cities of the country have shown interest in her business. Orders have also been received in large numbers. There was more happiness when businessmen from countries like Dubai, Sri Lanka and Bhutan showed interest.

Firozabad’s glassware entrepreneur Pratish Kumar said that the five-day trade show was a complete success. During these five days, domestic and foreign businessmen came to the stall. According to Pratish, this time the orders have been received much more than the previous trade show. Our production is not as much as the order has been received. Due to this, there is a possibility of delay in delivery as well.

Greater Noida’s entrepreneur Gurinder Kaur participated in the ‘UP International Trade Show’ for the first time. Gurinder Kaur works with phulkari and handprint suits. Gurinder said that the trade show proved to be a very good platform for brand promotion. Not only did they get a place to sell products under one roof, they also got a chance to partner with domestic and foreign businessmen.

Moradabad businessman Viresh Goswami said that he has a home decor and furniture business. His business benefited a lot from attending the trade show. He got a chance to talk to buyers and shopkeepers from different parts of the country and the brand also got a new identity. He has received orders up to six lakhs and bookings up to 15 lakhs, which will be finalized after further discussion.

Baghpat’s Dilshad Ali has a home finishing business. Dilshad said that he got good orders on the last day on Sunday as well. It has proved to be a very good platform for business. The Yogi government is making a lot of efforts to promote business. We were also given subsidy for setting up stalls.
