Lucknow: State Minister of State for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Independent Charge) Narendra Kashyap informed that the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India has invited online applications for various scholarship schemes for differently abled students for the academic session 2024-25.
The objective of this initiative is to provide financial assistance to differently abled students for their education. He has appealed to all eligible differently abled students to apply on time.
Joint Director, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ranjit Singh informed that applications for centrally funded pre-matric, post-matric and top class scholarship schemes for differently abled students can be made through the National Scholarship Portal and its mobile application.
The last date for application for pre-matric scholarship is 31 August 2024, while the last date for post-matric and higher class education scholarships has been fixed as 31 October 2024.
The eligibility conditions for the scholarship will be as per the guidelines of the Government of India. Scheme details, guidelines and application procedure are available on scholarship websites www.scholarships.gov.in and www.depwd.gov.in.
