SBI Lucknow Circle Donates Vehicle to Cancer Aid Society and Organizes Health Camp

Lucknow: On the occasion of the New Year,  Sharad Chandak, Chief General Manager of the State Bank of India (SBI), Lucknow Circle, made a generous donation to the Cancer Aid Society, Lucknow. A vehicle was presented under the bank’s Social Service Responsibility initiative to assist the society in raising awareness about critical diseases like cancer and the importance of palliative care. This vehicle will be used to conduct seminars and workshops across various districts, aimed at educating the public about prevention and care.

Dr. Dhan Prakash Gupta, the founder of the Cancer Aid Society, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the State Bank of India for their continuous support in spreading awareness and providing resources for cancer care.

In addition to this, the SBI team also participated in a tree plantation drive within the office premises to contribute to environmental protection. The occasion was further marked by a health camp organized for the staff members, ensuring their well-being and health.

The event was attended by senior officers including General Managers, Deputy General Managers, and other staff members, all of whom joined in the efforts to support these noble causes.
