Lucknow, February 2025: The Latouche Road Puja Sangsad Society (Pathak Road) organized a grand Saraswati Puja 2025, celebrating the goddess of wisdom and learning with great enthusiasm and devotion. The day-long festivities witnessed a heartfelt participation from devotees, especially students, seeking blessings from Maa Saraswati.
The puja rituals began at 07:00 AM, followed by Pushpanjali, where devotees offered prayers and flowers to the goddess. A special highlight of the morning was the ‘Hathe Khadi’ ceremony, marking the auspicious first writing lesson for young children, symbolizing their initiation into education.
A community bhog was served to all attendees, featuring a traditional Bengali feast of Khichdi, Sabji, Chutney, and a special Kheer, prepared especially for the occasion.
Post the religious proceedings, the evening was enriched with a cultural program showcasing performances by talented local artists, celebrating Bengali art, music, and dance. The celebrations concluded with a soul-stirring Bhajan Sandhya, filling the atmosphere with divine vibrations and devotion.
