Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath gave the gift of ropeway to the people of Braj. He has started the ropeway project on PPP model under Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority at a cost of Rs 15.89 crore in Barsana. With this, devotees will no longer have to climb 251 stairs to reach Ladli Kishori Radha Rani seated on Brahmachal mountain.
Devotees will reach the temple in 5 to 7 minutes
The Yogi government is continuously increasing tourism facilities in Braj. In this episode, on Sunday, CM Yogi has given the gift of ropeway service to lakhs of devotees visiting Barsana. Let us tell you that Ladli Ji temple is located on Brahmachal mountain in Barsana, the city of Braj’s queen Shri Radha Rani. To reach the temple, devotees had to climb about 251 stairs, but now devotees will have ease in reaching Radha Rani’s temple through ropeway. 12 trolleys will be operated in this 210 meter long ropeway built in Barsana. 6 people will be able to sit in each trolley. The height of the ropeway from the ground level is 30 meters. In 5 to 7 minutes, devotees will reach the temple of Shriji seated on Brahmachal mountain. In about an hour, 72 devotees will be able to visit Shri Radha Rani. Two stations have been built for the ropeway. Ticket counters have been made at the upper and lower stations.
The fare will be Rs 100
The Barsana ropeway project has been started on the PPP model under the Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority. It has cost Rs 15.89 crore. Toilet blocks, canteens, waiting halls etc. have been constructed for tourists here. Rs 100 will have to be spent per passenger for traveling in the ropeway. If a passenger uses the ropeway only for one side, then he will have to pay Rs 60. Tickets will also have to be bought for children above 5 years of age.
