Lucknow: A one-day workshop for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) was organized at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow, under the Special Summary Revision Programme, 2026, conducted by the Election Commission of India. The workshop was chaired by District Magistrate and District Election Officer, Vishakh G.
During the session, all BLOs were briefed on the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India and were provided detailed information regarding the tasks to be carried out under the special summary revision.
Addressing the officers, the District Magistrate informed that the Election Commission had issued the Special Summary Revision Programme on October 27, 2025, and that the process is currently underway. He instructed all BLOs to contact every voter in their respective areas, distribute enumeration forms in duplicate, and assist voters in filling them. He further emphasized that no documents should be collected from voters during the distribution and collection of the forms.

The workshop also covered the schedule of the revision process and technical aspects, including the use of the BLO/ECI Net Mobile Application. Doubts and queries raised by the participating officers were also addressed during the interactive session, ensuring effective implementation of the voter list revision programme.
