Need for internal reform of BJP in Amethi

Amethi: In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP Smriti Irani  had to face defeat. This defeat has highlighted many important problems within the organization, which have now become a matter of serious contemplation for the party. There is a need for a thorough review of the current state of the organization, so that the party can be re-empowered in the future. The most important issue in this review is of those officials who are holding big posts, but failed to get the party victory in their own village and booth.

It is a matter of great concern that the officials who did not register victory in their booth and village, are now being given the responsibility of making 200 new members in the party’s membership campaign. It is a matter of thought that those who could not get success at their booth, how will they make 200 new members and even if they do, will those members be able to convert into electoral support?

Need for organizational reform:

The high officials of the party and the district president should seriously consider that necessary reforms should be made in the organization before the membership campaign. At present, the organization includes many such officials, whose dedication towards the party is doubtful. There are many officials at the level of Mandal President, District Spokesperson, Sector President and Booth President, who have not taken the party forward strongly in their area. With such officials, it may be difficult for the party to hope for success in the upcoming elections.

It is necessary to remove old officials and give a chance to new workers. Such workers should be identified, who have not given any concrete results for the party at their booth and in their place, such workers should be given responsibility, who can actually work for the party at the grassroots level.

Need for new leadership:

It is time for the party to move towards a new leadership in Amethi. Under organizational reform, all those posts should be handed over to new and energetic workers, who are loyal to the principles of the party and can win the trust of the public in their area. Many of the existing office bearers are only engaged in their personal work, which is harming the image of the party. It would be appropriate to show such people the way out of the party.

Instead of workers who show off on social media, such people should be brought forward who have direct contact with the public and who can actually work at the grassroots level. Activism on social media is necessary, but it should be linked to ground reality.

Visualization of a strong organization:

Organizational reform can be successful only when the senior leaders of the party ensure that only those people are given responsibility who have made genuine efforts for the victory of the party in their booth and area. By assigning responsibility to new workers, new zeal and enthusiasm can be infused in the organization. This change will not only strengthen the internal structure of the party, but will also increase the chances of the party’s victory in the upcoming elections.

New message for the people of Amethi:

Organizational reform will send a positive message among the people of Amethi that the Bharatiya Janata Party is now moving forward with new ideas and enthusiasm. This will ensure that the party has a strong organisational structure, which is capable of winning the trust of the people.

Need to prepare for the upcoming challenges:

This is a time of introspection for the party and organisational reform is an essential step for this. If this reform is not done in time, the party may have to face even more serious challenges in the future. Therefore, it is necessary that the organisation is reformed immediately and new workers are given the opportunity to play an important role in the direction of the organisation by giving them responsibility.

Finally, in the interest of the party, it is very important that timely reforms are made in the right direction, so that the organisation can get new energy and direction. The party should ensure that in the coming elections, it contests in Amethi with a strong organisation and ensures victory.
